Review: First Alert SA320CN Double Sensor Battery-Powered Smoke and Fire Alarm

This Smoke Alarm Really Works!

I already managed to set one off when cooking in the kitchen. I didn’t have the range hood turned on when making eggs and wasn’t paying attention to how smokey the room was getting, and the alarm did its job. The last smoke alarms we had were old ionization type and didn’t go off at all when our crock pot malfunctioned and overheated, filling our kitchen with venison steam/smoke.

Easy install, clear instructions, uses AA batteries so not as expensive as 9-volts. We’ll see how long they last!
